If the H1N1 is so similair to the normal flue and you have the normal flue shot, can you have the H1N1 flue shot on top of the normal one? If you don’t have the normal one will the H1N1 shot replace the normal one or do you still need it also, if I need both, which one do I take first if it matters?
First, check with your healthcare provider to determine what vaccines you need. It’s possible to get both the seasonal and H1N1 flu vaccines on the same day, but one does not take the place of the other. You still need both, if your provider says you do. Doesn’t matter which you take first.
