Dr. Emily Willingham’s background includes a PhD in biological sciences, a bachelor’s degree in English, and a published book: The Complete Idiot’s Guide to College Biology. She is a scientist, writer, editor, teacher, autism & ADHD parent, and “all around opinionator.” She blogs frequently about public health, including as a contributor to EarthSky and a guest blogger at Scientific American.
Trish Parnell is a health educator and the director of PKIDs. She is an experienced freelance writer and, a very long time ago, was not a terrible newspaper columnist. Trish is the mom of a tweener and a teenager—consequently she eats aspirin like nobody’s business. And finally, this is not a recent picture, but she refuses to provide anything from this millennium.
Ms. Health Department has worked in the area of health education for several years. Her opinion is her own – she does not speak for her employer in these blog posts. Until she gets permission from her health department to uncloak, we’ll have to respect her need for anonymity.
